LIATHACH TRAVERSE

One of the North Wests highlights set deep in Glenn Torridon it gives inspiring appearance when entering the glen. The full traverse gives airy some ridge walking and some fine scrambling across the ‘Pinnacles’ section splitting the two munros of Mullach an Rathain and Spidean a’ Choire Leith. Aside from the excellent scrambling and climbing the views are superb giving across the remote mountain country and out to the Atlantic. We also add for those keen on more scrambling the South Ridge of Mullach an Rathain lovely stepped scrambling addition on rough sandstone at the higher end of grade 2. This is a must do for those visiting this area along with its neighbour Beinn Eighe. We are also able to take in the much harder ‘Northern Pinnacles’ a graded rock climb and committing excursion to whats dubbed the UK’s hardest mainland summit Meal Dearg.
We offer guided scrambles along this ridge in both East to West or vice versa and can also add in the South ridge of Mullach an Rathain to create yet more enjoyable climbing on perfect rock.

We can provide a harness, helmet and belay plate covered within your course cost. We provide all the hardware and ropes required a long with a first aid kit and other mountain safety equipment. We have a full kit list on the site and are happy to help answer any questions you may have on what to bring and what to wear.
