NORTH WALL WALK

Our North Wall Walk is an unforgettable adventure available both in summer and winter, perfect for a half- or full-day excursion from Fort William. Led by one of our experienced guides, this trek takes you to the breathtaking North Face of Ben Nevis.

The walk begins through the forests on the lower slopes, leading you up to the deep valley of Alt Mhuillin and then onto the historic CIC Hut. This mountain hut, rich in mountaineering history, has long served as a base for icy climbs on the North Face. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the towering cliffs, with the chance to get closer to them for an even more dramatic experience. We’ll stop for lunch here before heading back down to Fort William, with two descent options depending on time.

We provide all necessary mountain safety equipment, including a first aid kit, group shelter, and orange survival bags where required. While we do not provide maps, we carry one ourselves and can advise on the best sheet and scale for your route.
