INTRO ROCK CLIMBING EDINBURGH

Our AACUK introduction to rock climbing courses looks at beginner skills for those who are looking to get into traditional rock climbing in the UK. This course is delivered in the Edinburgh area with acccess to a range of excellent single-pitch venues perfect for getting to grips with rock climbing. During the course, we focus on the following key areas.

Key areas: Rock climbing technique, belaying both a seconding and leading climber, understanding traditional protection and its removal, anchors, self-managed abseil, climbing knots and understanding guidebooks and grades.

We provide all technical equipment and can provide helmets and harnesses. We do not provide food, clothing or footwear.
