Highland Guides Team
During busy periods we have a small pool of instructional staff who we call upon to deliver courses for Highland Guides. The instructors will either be members of the Mountain Training Association (MTA), Association of Mountaineering (AMI) Instructors or the British Mountain Guides (BMG). By ensuring that they are members of these associations we know that they have both undergone the appropriate training and assessment process but also adhere to maintaining their currency through a system of continued professional development in order to remain members of the above professional associations.
They will hold the relevant qualification for the course or experience they deliver along with current and valid insurance and first aid certification.
We also know these guides/instructors personally and spend time climbing and mountaineering together personally.
